Bensen Days Update

Bensen Days 2019 Event Banner

There have been many rumors and concerns regarding the future of the Bensen Days Rotorcraft Event since the demise of its traditional host, Sunstate Wing & Rotor Club.  Fortunately, George "Jake" Jacob has managed to enlist the support of enough people to put an organization together and run the event.  These people include primarily, Scott Lewis, Connie and Ernie Boyette, David Sease and Jon Carleton.  This group's current goal is to manage and run Bensen Days 2019.  Following the event, the rebirth of a Florida rotorcraft club may be a secondary consideration.

Wren's Fly-In

Wrens, Georgia Fly-in 2015

Date:

Friday, September 14, 2018 - 8:00am to Sunday, September 16, 2018 - 12:00pm

Wrens Fly-in is an event at the airport in Wrens, GA (65J), just Southwest of Augusta, GA.  It is sponsored by EAA Chapter 172 and features aircraft of all kinds.  In recent years there have been many aircraft from the fixed-wing, gyroplane and powered parachute communities.

There was formerly an event known as "Rotors Over Carolina" ("ROC") just over the Carolina border that included the Georgia,  the Carolinas and Florida gyroplane communities.  Since the demise of ROC, Wrens Fly-in has become the replacement event for those groups.
